How does a container supply chain work? The key principle of the container molasses supply chain is to utilise regular 20-foot regular shipping containers, special container bladders and internal support in the containers to meet the “no leakage” container shipping requirement. The container supply chain requires loading infrastructure at source. That infrastructure is already well established in our supply regions. At the destination, simple container devanning infrastructure and limited storage capacity is required. The result – a lower cost and more flexible supply chain to dramatically reduce the shipping, storage and in-country transportation cost of molasses for both importers and end users.
